Stefanie Parashyniak, french horn
A self proclaimed ‘band geek’, Stefanie’s musical career began as a trumpet player at the age of 12 as she played in several wind and jazz ensembles from 1991-1996 in Oshawa. She tried out the french horn for something new in 1995 and has never looked back. Playing horn with the Queen’s Bands from 1996-1998 gave Stefanie the opportunity to combine two of her favorite things, music and travel.
After a 7 year hiatus, Stefanie dusted off her horn and joined the Festival Wind Orchestra, and has also played with the Counterpoint Community Orchestra in Toronto. Stefanie is proud to be one of the original members of the Brass Conspiracy since 2006.
